Theresa Witt works as consultant in the Berlin office of Technopolis Group. She is experienced in diverse research methods including both quantitative as well as qualitative data analysis, such as multivariate statistical analysis, case studies, policy analysis and desk research, amongst others.
She works in national and international projects primarily in the areas of international cooperation, environmental policy, as well as research and innovation with a regional focus on Africa. Relevant national projects include the evaluation of the Internationalisation Strategy of the Federal Government for Education, Research and Science, a study on the potential of research and innovation cooperation of Germany with Latin America, and an accompanying study of the DAAD programme ’University-Business-Partnerships’. In addition, Theresa is working in several projects on municipal greenhouse gas balancing. At the European level, Theresa supported a network of African and European technology hubs in the Africa-Europe Innovation Partnership of the European Commission and a related network between European and Sri Lankan incubators and accelerators.
Before joining Technopolis, Theresa consulted the United Nations Office for Project Services in Dakar (Senegal) in the field of project development in francophone West Africa. She also worked as a research assistant at the Arnold-Bergstraesser-Institut in Freiburg and for the Chair of International Politics at the University of Konstanz.
Theresa holds a dual master’s degree in Politics and Public Administration from the University of Konstanz as well as in Political Science Research from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona). She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Freiburg, majoring in Governance. During her Bacherlor’s, she spent one year at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor (USA). Theresa speaks German, English and French and has knowledge of Spanish.
