Theresa Witt

Theresa Witt works as an analyst in the Berlin office of Technopolis Group. She is experienced in diverse research methods including both quantitative as well as qualitative data analysis, such as multivariate statistical analysis, case studies, policy analysis and desk research, amongst others. 

She works in national and international projects primarily in the areas of international cooperation, environmental policy, as well as research and innovation with a regional focus on Africa. Relevant projects include the evaluation of the ”Internationalisation Strategy of the Federal Government for Education, Research and Science” for the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research as well as being involved in the Africa-Europe Innovation Partnership, a network of African and European technology hubs. She also supports the German government’s Expert Council on Climate issues (Expertenrat für Klimafragen). 

Before joining Technopolis, Theresa consulted the United Nations Office for Project Services in Dakar (Senegal) in the field of project development in francophone West Africa. She also worked as a research assistant at the Arnold-Bergstraesser-Institut in Freiburg and for the Chair of International Politics at the University of Konstanz. 

Theresa holds a dual master’s degree in Politics and Public Administration from the University of Konstanz as well as in Political Science Research from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona). She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Freiburg, majoring in Governance. During her Bacherlor’s, she spent one year at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor (USA). Theresa speaks German, English and French and has knowledge of Spanish.
