Anete Vingre has experience in working in science and innovation policy, both as policy maker and academic researcher. Her research interests include science and innovation policy, regional development and social innovation.
In her role as senior consultant at Technopolis Group Baltic Office in recent years Anete has performed (in her role as project manager) an evaluation of innovation co-creation programmes for innovation funding agency Business Finland. Her other recent relevant projects include review of ESIF management structures in Ireland for Irish Department of Public Expenditure and benchmark study of collaborative economy for Irish Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation.
Currently Anete is managing the international Research Assessment Exercise in Latvia, which aims to assess the performance of all research institutions operating in the country.
In public policy Anete has worked as a project manager at the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia and as acting deputy head of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Support Unit at the Ministry of Finance of Latvia.
Anete holds a PhD in Political science from University of Latvia and has performed research also in Oslo University College, Norway and Georgia Institute of Technology, USA.
Her working languages are Latvian and English.
