Carmen Moreno is an analyst based in the Brussels Office of Technopolis Group. She has been involved in green economy projects and research and innovation projects, such as CirClean (DG Grow). She has developed expertise in public policy with a particular interest in innovation policies, green economy and global supply chain management. She has applied successfully a range of methods such as interviews, surveys, desk research, literature reviews and statistical analysis.
She has contributed recently to the analysis of the Open Public Consultation on the EU ETS for the aviation sector. She is currently involved in communication activities within the CircLean Project.
Prior to joining Technopolis Group in February 2021, Carmen worked for six months as a freelance consultant for La Casa de Mexico en España. During this time, she developed expertise in process re-engineering and project management, as she design, carried and deliver the project from the beginning. Previously Carmen completed an internship at Accenture Spain.
In 2019, Carmen obtained her undergraduate diploma in Industrial Management Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. She has recently completed an MSc degree in Science and Technology Policy from the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) at the University of Sussex.
She is a native speaker of Spanish and Galician, is fluent in English (C2), and has some knowledge of Portuguese (A2).
