Aurélien Seawert is a consultant in the Paris office of Technopolis Group. He has developed expertise in public policy evaluation with a focus on climate, energy and circular economy policies. He has contributed to evaluations, impact assessments and studies for international, European and national public bodies.
Aurélien is currently involved in an analysis of climate action in EU Member States’ Operational Programmes for 2021-2027, in light of the EU goal to mainstream climate change. He conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis of environmental data, including through the mid-term review of the implementation of the 7th Environment Action Programme for the European Parliament and a number of studies focusing on the development of climate-friendly technologies in Europe and Latin America.
Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Aurélien worked for the OECD Climate Change Adaptation team. During this time, he analysed countries’ responses to rising coastal risks, developing guidance on best practices and co-authoring a 2019 paper: “Responding to Rising Seas”.
Aurélien obtained his undergraduate diploma in Political Science from the University of Bath in the United Kingdom. He obtained a Masters degree in Environmental Policy from Sciences Po Paris. He is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
