Lonneke Schrijver MSc works as a Research Analyst at Technopolis Group, based in Amsterdam. In this position she focuses on Health and Life Sciences and specializes in Open Science. She had training in a wide range of research methods such as interviews, surveys, desk research, quantitative data analysis and statistics.
Recently Lonneke has contributed to several programma evaluations, including the evaluation of the Translational Research Programme in the Netherlands and the development and application of an evaluation tool for the functioning of the Flemish ethics committees on animal experiments. Her experience with programme evaluations is not limited to Health and Life Sciences, but expands to other thematic areas as well.
Lonneke has an academic background in neurobiology and has extensive knowledge of medical, biomedical and clinical research. She graduated in Psychobiology and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Amsterdam. During her studies she focused on cognitive neurobiology and clinical neurophysiology and has experience with clinical and translational research. Lonneke was involved in several research projects, such as the development of a visual prothesis, neurostimulation as an add-on treatment for alcohol addiction, and studied the similarities and differences in properties of cortical neurons in the human and mouse brain.
Dutch is her mother tongue and Lonneke is fluent in English.
