Protein transition Flanders. Study of the status and potential of (high) technological solutions to replace meat proteins in the daily diet.

Flanders aims to be the European leader in food. The growing interest and demand for ‘alternative’ proteins to replace meat (driven by various social trends) provides many potential economic opportunities for Flemish businesses. The study, published together with Blonk Consultants, shows that there are certainly opportunities in Flanders to build or strengthen an economic structure for alternative proteins for meat.
