Kleitia Zeqo is a Senior Consultant at Technopolis where she applies her research, management and communication skills in the fields of research and innovation policy as well as entrepreneurship. She has conducted numerous studies and projects on behalf of various European Commission Directorate-Generals and agencies, such as DG EAC, DG RTD, EASME, DG CONNECT, DG AGRI as well as the OECD.
Kleitia has expertise in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods such as setting up and analysing surveys and data, organising focus groups and workshops, conducting stakeholder interviews and writing reports. She has a specific interest in research and development and in fostering innovation policy. Kleitia is also an experienced public speaker, having presented studies in various conferences.
Recently Kleitia has contributed to several studies and evaluations in Europe, Africa, Japan, Vietnam and Myanmar. Furthermore, Kleitia has a solid interest in the development of EU research and Innovation policy (Horizon Europe) and she is working together with the International Cooperation Unit of DG RTD to Support the Steering Platform on Research and Innovation for Western Balkan. She has been part of the Impact Assessment of the Key Digital Technologies European Partnership and has developed a Strategy to increase the R&D intensity of the Irish Medtech Sector. Kleitia is also very interested in European regional policy, having made an assessment of the Urban Agenda for the EU (DG REGIO).
Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Kleitia worked as a consultant at IDEA Consult in Brussels. She also completed the Policy Officer Traineeship at the European Commission, working with DG RTD on fostering access to finance for innovation.
She is a Master of Science graduate from London School of Economics in European Politics and Governance and has also studied in Oxford, Rome and Brussels. She is fluent in English, Italian, Albanian, has a basic understanding of Spanish and French and is improving her Dutch.
