Tatjana Guznajeva

Tatjana Guznajeva is a consultant at Technopolis Group in based in Amsterdam. She has a solid methodological background in public policy analysis and evaluation, as well as strong research and analytical skills. She has contributed to research studies, evaluations and impact assessments for international and national public bodies. Due to Tatjana’s experience and training in social research methods, statistics and econometrics, she is competent to conduct both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

Recently, Tatjana has been working on the design and evaluation of policies in the sectors of education, entrepreneurship, ICT, innovation and green economy. She was involved in evaluation of innovation processes in emerging economies and research of innovation opportunities for SMEs, launched by the European Commission (EASME). She also participated in the impact evaluation of the European Social Survey and the assessment of opportunities and barriers for opening of research databases in low-carbon energy research. Her research interests include innovation, entrepreneurship, education, economic development and technology.

Before joining Technopolis Group, Tatjana worked for the British Red Cross and, the UN agency, the International Labour Organization (ILO). As a member of the ILO Decent Work Technical Support Team and Country Office for Central and Eastern Europe, Tatjana conducted research studies in the areas of social protection, conditions of work and gender equality. Thus, she gained extensive knowledge of topics such as occupational health and safety, informal economy, child benefits, minimum wages and youth employment.

Tatjana holds BA in International Politics from Middlesex University (the United Kingdom), MSc in Public Policy and Human Development from United Nations University and Maastricht University (the Netherlands). She works effectively in a multicultural setting, fluently speaking English, Russian and has a good command of Latvian.
