Theresa Iglauer works as a consultant with a focus on Green Economy and Climate Policy in the Berlin office of the Technopolis group. She is experienced in a wide range of quantitative and qualitative research methods as well as literature reviews, and is well-trained in writing reports and assessments.
She is especially interested in national and European climate policy and the social aspects of the green transformation like the social acceptance for climate protection measures. Theresa works on a metastudy on the sustainability effects of digitalisation and supports the German goverment’s Council of Experts on Climate Change (Expertenrat für Klimafragen). She was furthermore involved in a study on energy communities in Europe for Nordic Energy Research (NER) and a study on the potential of Green Start-ups in Germany.

Before joining Technopolis Group, Theresa worked at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) as a student assistant, and at the Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP) of the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) where she supported sociological research on wellbeing and attitudes towards refugees. During the work at DIW she gained proficiency in econometric methods and spatial analysis.

Theresa studied Public Economics, M.Sc., at the Freie Universität Berlin with a focus on carbon taxation and climate policy, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy & Economics from the Universität Bayreuth. She is fluent in German and English, and has some knowledge of Spanish.
