Jihane Boutaybi has developed expertise in public policy evaluation with a particular interest in sustainable development policy. She has contributed to advising International Development Financial Institutions and the European and national public bodies to scale up investments towards SDGs. During her master’s degree and internships, she has successfully applied a range of methods such interviews, surveys, case studies, desk research, literature reviews and statistical analysis.

Since her incorporation to Technopolis France, she contributed to the assessment and evaluation of public policies in France and at European Regions as well as in the evaluations of financial instruments. She also contributed to evaluation of development programmes : the evaluation of AFD’s urban development cluster in Morocco, the evaluation of the CARICOM DEVELOPMENT FUND, or the study on the scaling up of AFD projects.

Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Jihane worked for the Greens/EFA at the European Parliament as a trainee and the Institute of Sustainable development and international relations in Brussels and Paris. During this time, she analysed the contribution of public entities to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Jihane obtained her undergraduate diploma in Economics from the University of Strasbourg. She obtained a master’s degree in Macroeconomics and European Policies from the University of Strasbourg and a major in Sustainable Development from the Clermont School of Economics. She is fluent in English, French and Spanish and has advanced knowledge of Portuguese, Arabic and Catalan.
