Anna Menenti
Senior Consultant
Anna Menenti, senior consultant at
Technopolis Group, has continuously developed her expertise in international
innovation management over the past 18 years in both public and private sector.
She has worked on this evolving topic in multiple continents. In her work Anna
uses a fact-based approach, for this she has applied successfully a range of
methods involving network analysis, interviews, surveys, case studies, desk
research, literature reviews, statistical analysis, benchmarking studies and
intuitive data visualisation.
Recently Anna has contributed to several
studies and evaluations on Europe’s and Africa’s innovation capacity and how to
grow its entrepreneurial activity in order to strengthen its competitive
advantage. Furthermore, she has developed instruments to facilitate transition
within SMEs to increase their competitive advantage whilst investing in
sustainability, both in terms of business development as well as environment
(SDGs).
Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Anna
has worked in the public sector for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and
the Dutch municipality of The Hague as well as in the private sector for
corporates (a.o. Philips), SMEs and as independent contractor. She has done
this in the area of innovation-based business development in various countries
across different continents, primarily oriented to international business and
knowledge transfer. She has also extensive experience in start-up ecosystem
development, with particular attention for SDGs.
Anna obtained her Masters degree in
International Business Administration with specialisation in Innovation
Management from the (technical) University of Twente, in the Netherlands. From
the same university she also obtained her Bachelors degree in Applied
Communication Sciences. She is native in Italian and Dutch, fluent in English,
Spanish, French, and German as well as basic knowledge of Portuguese.
