Arivan Tutal works as a consultant at Technopolis Group’s subsidiary in Sweden. She is concentrates on regional development policy, primarily focusing on innovation and business growth. She has contributed to the development and implementation of the regional innovation strategy “Stockholm 2025: the most innovation-driven economy” in Stockholm in her previous position in the public sector.
Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Arivan worked at the County Administrative Board of Stockholm, a Government authority with the commission to work towards a sustainable development in the county. Most recently, she has been working with the processes of smart specialisation and cluster development in the Stockholm region.
Arivan holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Gothenburg University that focused on public policy and political science. Furthermore, she obtained her master’s degree in Public administration and economics, with subjects focusing on public policy, financial management and accounting in public organisations. Her mother tongue is Swedish, and she has advanced knowledge of English and a good understanding of Norwegian.
