Larissa Scheu is a Consultant based in the National Office of the “Business Initiative Smart Living” operated by Technopolis Group in Berlin, on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
Larissa has developed expertise in public affairs with particular interest in energy and water policy. She is well-trained in writing position papers, consultation responses and opinion pieces. She has applied successfully a range of methods such as interviews, surveys, case studies, desk research, literature reviews, and statistical analysis.
Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Larissa worked for the company Grundfos at HQ Bjerringbro, Denmark, within the Governmental Affairs department. During this time, she analysed the 28 EU Member States’ National Energy Efficiency Action Plans to find relevant support programs; generated position and consultation papers; analysed the effect of relevant political and legislative developments; and supported senior executive’s interactions with political stakeholders. Furthermore, Larissa was able to develop her communication skills during her time at the consultancy firm Lindberg International in Aarhus, Denmark, where she collected quantitative and qualitative information for companies located across the German and English-speaking markets such as in IT solutions, marine industry, and logistics. Larissa has also worked as a research analyst at the Cold War History Research Center at Corvinus University, Budapest.
Larissa holds a M.Sc. in Political Science from Aarhus University, Denmark and a B.A. in European Studies from Maastricht University, Netherlands. Larissa is fluent in German, English and has advanced knowledge in French, Spanish, Dutch and Danish.
