Costanza Tiriduzzi has developed expertise in public policy evaluation with a particular interest in innovation for sustainability. She has contributed to evaluations, impact assessment and studies for international, European and national public bodies. She has applied successfully a range of methods such as interviews, surveys, case studies, desk research, literature reviews and benchmarking studies.
Recently Costanza has contributed to several studies and evaluations on R&D and innovation support programmes in the field of clean energy. She is currently involved in the evaluation of the Energy Entrepreneurs Fund, a scheme of the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy funding innovation in the areas of energy efficiency, power generation and heat and electricity storage. She is also working on a study reviewing key performance metrics of 50 programmes belonging to the department’s Energy Innovation Portfolio. Previous projects include a study on the impact of research by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council on the circular economy in the UK and the evaluation of a business support programme of the Royal Academy of Engineering.
Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Costanza interned at the Centre for Rural and Agricultural Development of the Umbria region (Italy).
Costanza obtained her Honours undergraduate degree in Spanish and Politics from the University of Edinburgh and a Masters degree in Sustainable Development from the Science Policy Research Unit at the University of Sussex. She is fluent in English, Italian and Spanish and has advanced knowledge of German and French.
