Cecilia Rolla is an Analyst at Technopolis Group Brussels. She works on policy analysis and support, focusing on Industry and Place-Based Innovation policies. Cecilia has acquired expertise in monitoring, evaluation, and strategic support. She is acquainted with both qualitative and quantitative analytical tools, and has an interest in mixed methods and evidence-based policy analysis.

Recently, Cecilia has contributed to projects including a landscape analysis of Technology Infrastructures in the EU for DG RTD, and to the monitoring of the EU industrial ecosystem for DG GROW and EISMEA. She is currently contributing to the Community of Practice for Smart Specialisation for DG REGIO, among other projects.

Cecilia holds a BSc in Political Sciences and International Relations, and a MSc in Economics from UCLouvain. Before joining Technopolis Brussels, she completed an internship at ADE S.A., where she worked on the Impact Evaluation of International Cooperation policies and projects for EU and international institutions. She participated in an evaluation of a programme aimed at addressing gender norms and eliminating gender-based violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and in the evaluation of the Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction Policies of the World Food Programme.
Previously, she has also worked as a research assistant at UCLouvain, collecting, managing and analysing data for an Economic History research project.

Cecilia is an Italian native speaker, and she is also fluent in English and French.
