Andreas is a Communication Consultant at ARCTIK – Communication for Sustainability (part of the Technopolis group), joining the organisation in August 2022.

With a multicultural background and over ten years spent living abroad, Andreas provides a diverse and international profile. Prior to joining ARCTIK, he gained experience in communication and project management in Vienna. His previous role had Andreas working for the Austrian Social Science Data Archive, a social science data infrastructure tied to the University of Vienna, providing coordination and communication on the European Union Open Science project SSHOC, including in the form of a self-recorded, -edited, and -published podcast. In addition, in parallel to his studies and his work, he collaborated with the United Nations Vienna Headquarters as a communications consultant for four years.

Andreas holds an MSc. in Socio-Ecological Economics and Policy at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, granting him in-depth and transdisciplinary competence on issues of global sustainability and societal transformation, with specialisations in Environmental Change and Policy as well as Globalisation and Multi-Level Policy. He also holds two B.A.s. in Political Science and International Development from the University of Vienna, focusing on multi-level governance, nation branding, political messaging, grassroot movements, intersectionality, and Latin American politics.

He is fluent in English, German, and French (mother tongue), as well as conversational in Spanish and Dutch.
