Rob King has developed expertise in health economics with a recent particular interest in the patient pathway for hip, knee and shoulder replacements. He has contributed to health economic evaluations, clinical guideline development and health policy consultancy. He has applied successfully a range of methods such cost effectiveness analysis, network meta-analysis, interviews, desk research, systematic literature reviews and statistical analysis.
Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Rob worked for the Royal College of Physicians as a health economist. During this time, he worked on economic evaluation of self-monitoring devices for atrial fibrillation and administration methods of a drug to reduce blood transfusions during surgery. Previously Rob worked at Visiongain conducting market research reports in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
Rob obtained his integrated Master’s in Biological Sciences from University College London. He has also obtained a Master’s degree in Health economics, Policy and Management from the Karolinska Institute, in Stockholm. He is native English and has a basic knowledge of Swedish.
