Nadia Galati has developed expertise in public policy evaluation with a particular interest in (higher) education policy, research cooperation and green economy. She has contributed to various evaluations and studies for European and national public bodies and foundations and successfully applied a range of methods such as interviews, surveys, case studies, desk research, statistical analysis and benchmarking studies.  

She works in various projects for the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, the European Commission and other German and European clients. Her projects cover various areas of higher education and research policy: For example, in the « FH-Impuls » evaluation she focuses on institutional development and the further development of research areas. As a project manager for the evaluation of the federal-state initiative “Innovative University”, she also deals with regional research and innovation ecosystems, and within the framework of the evaluation of the “female professors’ programme” or the assessment of the results of the EU Forum Education and Training 2020 (ET2020) with further higher education policy issues. In the area of ​​green economy, she worked on the topic of circular economy or the energy transition, for example as part of the evaluation of the think tank Agora Energiewende or regarding the identification of German-Dutch cooperation potential. Other focus areas include European climate policy and the establishment of national and international cooperation networks (e.g. with Latin America or India). Prior to joining Technopolis Group, she worked for the German Dialog Institute, where she contributed to the evaluation of the communication processes of the EU-Latin America research cooperation network ERANet-LAC. 

She obtained both her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Political Science from the Goethe University Frankfurt in Germany. She is fluent in German and English and has advanced knowledge of Korean.
