Nadia Galati is a Senior Consultant at Technopolis Germany (Frankfurt). Shehas developed expertise in public policy evaluation with a particular interest in (eigher) education and science policy, research cooperation and innovation policy. She has contributed to various evaluations and studies for European and national public bodies and foundations and successfully applied a range of methods such as interviews, surveys, case studies, focus groups/workshops, desk research, statistical analysis and benchmarking studies. 

She works in various projects for the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the European Commission and other German and European clients including non-profit organisations and foundations. For example, as project manager, she conducted a study on the DAAD funding programmes focusing on digital internationalisation of teaching and learning. Furthermore, she has recently managed the evaluation of the German federal-state initiative “Innovative University”, where she dealt with regional research and innovation ecosystems, university-business cooperation as well as the institutional development of HEIs. Other current assignments include a study on interoperability in international cooperations of HEI (with a focus on European university alliances) for the German Forum for Higher Education in the Digital Age as well as the evaluation of the Prototype Fund, a programme by BMBF on technological and social innovation in the field of Free and Open Source Software. In the past, she was involved in the assessment of the results of the EU Forum Education and Training 2020 (ET2020) for DG EAC. Thus, she has developed expertise in international (with a focus on European) developments in higher education, in particular with regard to digitisation. Furthermore, she has led various studies on think tanks, think tank-related activities, and policy engagement for several foundations.

Prior to joining Technopolis Group, she worked for the German Dialog Institute, where she contributed to the evaluation of the communication processes of the EU-CELAC network ERANet-LAC.

She obtained both her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Political Science from the Goethe University Frankfurt in Germany. She is fluent in German and English and has advanced knowledge of Korean.
