Jasper van Dijk is a research analyst at Technopolis Group, based in Amsterdam. He has a strong methodological background and expertise in policy research, with a particular interest in innovation and energy policy. He has experience with a range of methods such as interviews, case studies, desk research, workshops and data-analysis.
Currently, Jasper is involved in the ACE2 verification project for the World Bank in which he contributes to Monitoring & Evaluation of funding for African Centres of Excellence (ACE). In this project, he is responsible for data analysis and conducting surveys. Furthermore, Jasper has contributed to an international case study of policy instruments towards the bioeconomy for the Inter-American Development Bank.
Jasper studied for his Master’s degree in Innovation Sciences at Technical University of Eindhoven where he gained knowledge about innovation- and energy policy. His master thesis focused on coordination between governance levels for the governance of the Dutch energy transition. He holds his Bachelor’s degree in Science from Radboud University Nijmegen. During his studies, Jasper did exchanges at Uppsala University (Sweden) and the National University of Singapore where he studied Public Policy and Sustainable Development. He is fluent in English and Dutch.
