Liliana is based in Bogotá for Technopolis Group. She has developed expertise in science and technology policy with a particular interest on innovation and sustainable development. She holds a masters’ degree in Sustainable Development from SPRU -University of Sussex and a bachelor degree in Chemistry from Universidad Nacional de Colombia. She is experienced in usingboth quantitative and qualitative analysis tools and methodologies including interviews, desk research, literature reviews and data analysis.

Recently, Liliana has been involved in projects such as the Evaluation of the Public Digital Innovation Center in Colombia, contributing to the impact assessment of the center; Analysis of the Scoring Model of Ruta n and Policy recommendations for the integration of Environmentally Sound Technologies into National Innovation Systems in Latin America and Caribbean countries.

Before she joined Technopolis Group, she worked as project manager of R&D and Science, Technology and Innovation projects. She coordinated the activities of the project on “Transformative Innovation at the regional level in Colombia” and supported the formulation of the “Green Book 2030: Science and Innovation for Sustainable Development”. Lilianaalso took part in the activities of the Transformative Innovation Policy Consortium (TIPC), assisting the areas of impact and communications. Her previous experience on R&D projects in Colombia and Germany contributed with her knowledge of innovation systems and her interest in public policies.

Liliana is fluent in Spanish and English and has a professional command of German.
