Cristina Rosemberg, Senior Consultant at Technopolis Group UK, was a speaker the conference XI International Seminar for Prospective Studies – Prospecta Peru 2014. She made a presentation on metrics and indicators used to measure performance and evolution of National Innovation Systems, bringing the international experince and approach to the Peruvian context.
The conference was organised by the Peruvian National Center for Strategic Planning (CEPLAN), the National Council of Science and Technology (CONCYTEC), the National Society of Industries (SNI) and the Ministry of Culture. The main objective of the seminar was to disseminate the use of foresight as tool for technology innovation and strategic planning, as well as to discuss and reflect on the challenges and opportunities posed to Latin American countries the emergence of ‘future’ economic sectors and technology areas.
Other speakers included Jerome Glenn, Co-founder and director of The Millennium Project; Hafiz Mirza, Head of Research and Investment Affairs for the UNCTAD, Dalci Maria dos Santos, from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development of Brazil, Alvin Cai from the Singapore Economic Development Board, Byunghi Ha from the Korea Institute for Industrial Economics and Trade (KIET), among others.
