Cédric Hananel is a recognised communication strategist and expert in creative communications. For the last 15 years, he has overseen a large number of communication strategies for the public sector (European Commission, EFTA, Belgium, France, Norway…). He has been involved in the design, implementation, and evaluation of EU and regional projects, addressing topical environmental, energy, innovation, climate services, and circular economy topics.

As the managing director of Arctik, Cédric is leading a team of 15 consultants providing communication services for national and international clients. Since 2019, Cédric is also Technopolis Group communication director.

Cédric holds a Master in Sociology from the University of Louvain (Belgium), and a Master in Sustainable Development from Brandeis University, Boston (USA). Between 2014 and 2016, he acted as coordinator/teacher for environmental communication at IHECS Academy (Belgium). He is currently an active member of the think-thank PROTAGORAS, which specialises in public and political communication.

In 2020, Cédric published the book, Circular Economy in the Brussels Capital Region.
