Tatiana Paredes is an applied microeconomist and a Senior Consultant in the London office. She holds a PhD in Social Policy from the London School of Economics and an MSc in Public Policy and Development from the Paris School of Economics. She completed a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Economics at University College London (UCL) and holds an honorary fellowship with the Department of Economics of UCL.
Tatiana has conducted impact evaluation studies for nearly eight years and has been project manager of UKRI and ESRC funded projects in the UK. She has worked in various development institutions, multilateral organisations and academia. She was National Director of Policy Evaluation at the National Planning Secretariat of Ecuador. She also worked as a consultant for the World Bank, for the Ministry of Economic Policy of Ecuador and several universities and research institutes such as University College London, the London School of Economics and the Grantham Institute for Climate Change and the Environment.
Tatiana has extensive experience using econometric tools for impact evaluation, including regression discontinuity designs, event studies, difference-in-differences, and complex randomised interventions that include a mixed methods approach.
