Patrick Armel Balliet is a Consultant who has recently joined Technopolis Africa – Technopolis Group regional African subsidiary based in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. He has three (3) years of work experience in Finance and economic research where he developed an understanding of industries such as education, health, construction, IT etc

At Technopolis, he is working on projects covering a wide range of sectors such as private sector development, innovation, entrepreneurship, and agro-economy mostly. He contributes to the company’s business development in the region and provides cross-cutting support in conducting policy evaluations, sectoral and technical studies, strategic support and consulting project for major clients in Africa.

Before joining Technopolis, he worked at an asset management firm as an Analyst on the regional stock market for all member States in the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU). Following this, he joined a private equity firm, managing a fund offering growth capital and operational support to mid-size companies looking to strengthen their core activities and expand in West Africa and beyond. The fund invests primarily in consumer goods and services, business services and manufacturing.

Through his previous work experience, he acquired a range of valuable skills such as understanding of market trends, strategic thinking, data analysis, quantitative and qualitative analysis. His academic track record also provided him working knowledge in structured and non-structured interviews, case studies, desktop research and literature reviews.

Patrick is a driven and passionate individual. He has a deep interest in African development and is dedicated to making a positive impact in this area. He holds a Msc in Economics from City, University of London and a Bsc in Finance from Ecole Supérieure de Gestion Finance (Paris). He is fluent in English and French.
