Vanina Choe is a consultant at the Paris office of Technopolis Group. She is oriented towards the topics of green economy and SMEs financial support in the emerging countries within the field of public policy evaluation, although she remains open to all thematics as part of her continuous learning process. Duirng her time at Technopolis Group, she has contributed to evaluations and policy studies by successfully applying several methods such as interviews, desk research, surveys and literature reviews.
Prior to joining Technopolis Group, she worked as an intern at Cités Unie France, the French network of local governments involved in decentralised cooperation, and, at Élan Développement, an engineering consultancy focused on local development and governance. Through these professional experiences, Vanina has developed a thorough understanding of the French local bodies’ jurisdiction and issues.
Vanina holds a double-major bachelor’s degree in Business and English language and society from the University Paris X Nanterre and completed an exchange semester in the Fachhochschule Kufstein FH Tirol (Austria). She is currently finishing her master’s degree in Environmental Policy with a focus in project management at the Parisian School of International Affairs of Sciences Po. She has also been the Collectif Démarqué’s project coach for three years, an associative project aimed at raising awareness on the social and environmental impacts of the textile industry and at promoting more sustainable clothing solutions. She has thus developed an expertise on the topic, in project management and in empowerment processes, as the originator as well as recipient, having been a mentee of the 2017 Women4Climate programme implemented by the C40 Cities.
Vanina works in French and English and is knowledgeable Spanish and Korean.
