Liana Petrosova is a Research Analyst at Technopolis Group, based in the Amsterdam office. She works in the area of Health and Life Sciences and has a background in qualitative research and policy analysis. She is interested in social innovation for healthcare, social entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility.
Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Liana worked in the non-profit sector, focusing on issues of health systems, access to healthcare, and youth empowerment. Most recently she has worked as a Consultant for the World Health Organisation, where she conducted health policy evaluations and a research on the gender dimension in the provision of informal care in Europe. During her studies, Liana was involved with youth organisation advocating for sexual and reproductive rights and access to medicines worldwide. She participated and led a number of initiatives for inclusion of young people in the policy making for pharmaceutical and HIV/AIDS policies on the national and international levels. She has also worked as project assistant for AFEW International, an Amsterdam-based NGO working on the issues of HIV and TB in the region of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Liana obtained her Master’s degree in European Public Health from the University of Maastricht, the Netherlands. She is fluent in Russian and English, has intermediate knowledge of Dutch, and some basic knowledge of French and German.
