Annika Kossack has experience in the management of business and innovation projects. Due to her prior experience whilst working at the European Commission, she has developed a sound knowledge of the EU grant and procurement landscape. Furthermore, she has contributed to evaluations and impact assessments on both European and national level (German Federal Ministries and other public bodies).
Annika Kossack acts as a contact point for the European Open Science Cloud secretariat, comprised of 11 partners and worth million 9 996 500 EURO.
Before joining Technopolis Group, she worked as a consultant in the framework of the EU competitiveness programme for Small and Medium sized Enterprises (COSME). During her academic studies, she gained valuable experience in a large German Multinational Company where she supported the team in the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. Her ambition to work at the interface between society and business grew from her experience in public consultancies in Germany
She holds a Master’s degree in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick (UK) and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and International Organization from the University of Groningen (NE).
She was born and raised in Johannesburg (South Africa) and is fluent in English, German and Dutch and has working knowledge of Spanish and a fair understanding of French.
