Lisanne Saes is a senior consultant at Technopolis in Amsterdam with expertise in energy saving, renewable energy, the circular economy and innovation policy. Her experience includes executing and coordinating impact studies, strategic studies, evaluations and sustainability projects. She uses both qualitative and quantitative methods, including surveys, interviews and stakeholder workshops.

At Technopolis, she works mainly on the theme of ‘green economy’. She led studies on the greening of the Flemish industry, system integration in the energy transition and solar PV projects with SDE+ subsidy (Stimulering Sustainable Energy Production and Climate Transition). She also contributed to many European projects, like assessing climate measures in ERDF programmes, the EU4Algae forum and the circular industrial roadmap.

Before working at Technopolis, Lisanne worked for Liander, a Dutch utility company that distributes electricity and gas. She worked in the Strategy & Innovation department as a project leader for sustainability projects and gave policy advice on sustainability. Lisanne completed her Bachelor and Master Innovation Sciences at Eindhoven University of Technology, where she specialized in sustainable innovation. She is fluent in Dutch and English.
