Hannah Bernard is a consultant based in the Brussels office of Technopolis Group. She works on policy assessments related to innovation and sustainability. Hannah has an analytical background that provides her expertise in working with quantitative research methods, but she also applies a range of qualitative tools. She has experience in descriptive statistics, econometrics, data analysis, interviews, surveys, desk research and literature review.
Hannah has contributed to the development of the European Eco-Innovation Scoreboard (DG ENV) through the computation of indicators, and supported the data analysis for the Monitoring of Digital Transformation and Key Enabling Technologies (EASME). She was also involved into the market analysis of the feasibility study for a STEM facility in Rwanda.
Hannah holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a master’s degree in “Economic Analysis and European Policy”, both from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. Her master thesis consisted in an empirical analysis of the relationship between innovation and income inequality in the European Union. Hannah works in English and French, and has basic knowledge of Spanish and Dutch.
