Lennart Velten is a research assistant based in the Amsterdam office with a particular interest in Health & Life Sciences, open research and entrepreneurship. He has worked on evaluations and benchmarking studies for European and national public bodies. Lennart has good command on research methods such as interviews, surveys, case studies, desk research, literature reviews, statistical analysis and workshop organisation.
Before joining Technopolis, Lennart interned in policy consulting at Research Consulting Ltd. in the United Kingdom, where he contributed to various studies including a benchmarking of research contract management in the UK and Australia. As board member of the student association at the University of Applied Sciences Europe, he worked actively with multinational and multidisciplinary groups of students, lecturers and university staff.
Currently Lennart is finishing his Master’s degree in Science, Business and Innovation at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Prior to this, he obtained two bachelor degrees in Berlin, one in Biology from the Humboldt University and the other in Business Psychology from the University of Applied Sciences Europe. He is fluent in German and English and has a decent command of Dutch.
