Alberto Domini is a Consultant at the Brussels office of Technopolis Group. Since 2016, he has been contributing to evaluations, impact assessment studies and other kinds of projects for the European Commission in the field of R&I policy.
He has applied a range of qualitative analytical methods such as interviews, surveys, case studies, desk research, literature reviews and workshops for projects in a variety of topics: e.g. open innovation, mission-orientation in Horizon Europe, SME innovation policy and collaborative economy.
Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Alberto worked at the Joint Institute for Innovation Policy (JIIP), Brussels-based consortium of four major European RTOs, and held a training position at the DG Research and Innovation (at the Common Implementation Centre).
After graduation, he worked in Luxembourg at business and not-for-profit organisations, where he contributed to EU-funded projects fostering the employability and well-being of minorities in the workplace, i.e. people with disabilities (PWD) and LGBTI+ employees.
Alberto is a graduate in International Relations and Diplomacy, with a major in International Economics from the University of Trieste, Italy. He is an Italian native speaker, and is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
