Role
- Work on projects covering a wide range of sectors: research & innovation, higher education & skills, health & life sciences, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, SMEs and industry, agriculture, green economy and international cooperation.
- Provide cross-cutting support in conducting policy evaluations, sectoral and technical studies, strategic support and consultancy projects for our major clients in Africa.
- Contribute to the company’s business development activities (i.e. proposal preparation).
Profile description
- We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong interested in public development and innovation policies.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in public policy consulting or in the public sector.
- Hold a master’s degree in economics or related field.
- Strong analytical, research and writing skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural team.
- Ability to write and speak in English; a professional level of French is highly appreciated; knowledge of an additional language such as Portuguese or Arabic is a plus.
- Experience working in emerging and developing countries, preferably in Africa.
- Thematic expertise in the areas of innovation and research, private sector development, with cross cutting agriculture, green economy, life / health sciences, or ICT.
