We are looking for a curious and motivated individual who is interested in working as an entry level consultant (i.e. analyst) for the public sector. A specific interest or experience working on policies supporting science, innovation and economic development is expected. Additional experience or an academic background relating to the green economy, European Structural or Investment Funds/cohesion policy, policy evaluation or international development would be considered an asset. The person must have at least a bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. public policy, economics, engineering, life sciences). Previous experiences working for the public sector / consulting are not mandatory, but would be considered a plus. The candidate is expected to be fluent in French and English.
The salary will be defined based on the experience of the candidate and will range between 30 and 35k euros / year gross + yearly bonus based on performance.
The role of the analyst in science, technology and innovation will be to provide cross-cutting support in conducting policy evaluations, sectoral and technical studies, strategic support and consultancy projects for some of our major clients in France and at the European/international level e.g. the European Commission (DG RTD, CLIMA), French Regional Authorities, and multilateral development banks. She or he will also be asked to contribute to the company’s business development activities (i.e. proposal preparation).
