Bruno Nemec works as an analyst with a focus on Green Economy at the Technopolis office in Frankfurt. He is also a research assistant in the project “InnoFuels” of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Digital Affairs and Transport. He is experienced in desk research, quantitative analysis, expert interviews and modelling methods of energy systems.

Bruno is particularly interested in solutions to decarbonisation the transport sector as well as sector coupling. In his Master’s thesis, he conducted a techno-economic analysis of heavy road freight transport during the market ramp-up of different technology paths using an agent-based model.

Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Bruno worked as a technology transfer officer in the Project “IMPACT RheinMain” of the RheinMain University of Applied Scienced. There he was involved in the preparation of several research and transfer projects in the context of sustainable transport and hydrogen. Before that, he worked as a student assistant for a wind power project developer in project planning.

Bruno has a Master’s degree in Vehicle Development, Energy Technology and Production Planning with a focus on Energy Technology from RheinMain University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He speaks fluent German, Portuguese and English.
