(Dr.) Adeline Néron joined the Africa Office of the Technopolis Group early 2024. Passionate about knowledge systems and governance models, she is a Senior Consultant with more than 10 years of international experience in-and-on research and policy work.

She has served as a Research Fellow at the French Institute for Research and Innovation in Society from 2012 to 2019. Together with her own research projects in Europe and Africa, she has contributed to several academic agendas with the French National Centre for Scientific Research, Sciences-Po Paris, Telecom Paris, the French Institute of Research for Development and Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar. Concomitantly, she has led social dialogues such as within the World Forum on Science and Democracy, and formulated recommendations on the management of techno-scientific developments for the Council of Europe, the European Union or the Economic Commission for Africa.

With her enthusiastic critical thinking, she has since directly contributed to strategies, evidence-based programs and institutional learning in West Africa, with Civil Society Organizations and Inter-Governmental Agencies, on areas ranging from emerging technologies or health practices, to peacebuilding or migration.

A Paris native, Adeline is a social scientist by training and notably holds a Master and a PhD in Science & Technology Studies from the School for Advanced Studies. Before settling in Côte d’Ivoire, she has lived in France, England, Canada, Morocco, Senegal and Burkina Faso. She is fluent in French and in English.
