Lea Rabe works as a public policy consultant with a particular interest in innovation and digital policy at the Technopolis office in Berlin. She currently contributes to ex-post and accompanying evaluations in the fields of cybersecurity, human-technology interaction, data stewardship and smart living and is involved in the “Business Initiative Smart Living” (WISL e.V.), which is operated by the Technopolis group.
She has experience in a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods such as interviews, surveys, statistical analysis, desk research, and literature reviews.
Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Lea worked for a public policy consultancy in Berlin on evaluation projects in the education and labour market field for national public bodies. Previously she gained experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods as a data analyst in a market research company and as a student assistant in various research projects in the academic field in Mainz and Berlin.
Lea holds a Master’s degree from the Free University in Berlin in Political Communication and obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Mainz in communication studies and economics. During the Master’s programme she spent a semester abroad at the University of Oslo. She is fluent in German and English and has some knowledge in Norwegian and French.
