Amanda Bengtsson Jallow works as a Senior Consultant at Technopolis Group’s subsidiary in Sweden. She is experienced with public policy evaluation and has contributed to and led evaluations, impact assessments and benchmarking studies in her current and previous work in the private sector. She has successfully applied qualitative and quantitative methods, such as interviews, desk research, case studies, mappings, and surveys. Amanda works primarily with higher education, research and innovation, as well as regional, social and sustainable development. Before joining Technopolis Group, she worked with the Swedish consultancy company Kontigo (now WSP Advisory Sweden), which is specialised in assessing public policies for regional, social and environmentally sustainable development. In 2018, Amanda obtained her master’s degree in political science from Stockholm University. The principal subjects of her degree were national and global equality policies studies, European public policy studies, and global and regional governance. During her master’s studies, she did an exchange semester at the University of Limerick in Ireland, where she studied international political economy, international co-operation, conflict, and development studies. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Stockholm University whit a focus on management policy, implementation, and public policy evaluation. In addition to her degree, she has studied Gender Studies. Amanda’s mother tongue is Swedish, and she has advanced knowledge of English and a good understanding of Norwegian and Danish.
