Pascal Halbeisen is a consultant who recently joined the London office of Technopolis Group. He has a background in contingent evaluation focusing on stated preference analysis and willingness to pay research with a proven record of successful projects in the transport, utility and finance industry as well as in the public sector. He is trained in a range of methods including statistical and multivariate analysis, econometrics, model building and economic research which he has successfully applied during his academic and professional career. He has a special interest in public choice and political economics. He has several years of experience of strategy design and development in the commercial environment.
Pascal is currently supporting the evaluation team for the economic impact assessment of GSTP and TRP programmes for the European Space Agency (ESA). A list of recent projects before joining the Technopolis include Social Value Research for Distribution Network Operators (DNO) and Ofgem, Evaluation of Emigration Incentives for the Albanian Government, Evaluation of Customer Reaction for Arriva Northern Rail and Exploration of Supply Outage Compensation Levels for Affinity Water among others.
Pascal obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Process Management from the University of Applied Science Nordwestern Switzerland (FHNW). He further holds a master’s degree in Economics for Business from the University of Hull. In 2014, he completed his doctoral thesis in Political Economics at the University of Hull. Pascal is fluent in German and English and has basic knowledge of French.
