Study on the potential of different technologies for reducing fossil energy use for industrial heat (biomass, electrification, residual heat use, hydrogen, etc) in Flanders. We conducted an international comparison (with the Netherlands, Germany and Sweden), explained the (technological and economic) potential of each technology, made business cases, investigated the barriers and needs and provided policy advice. Technopolis did the study in collaboration with VITO.
