The labels ‘Industry 4.0’, ‘4th technological revolution’, ‘4th technological paradigm’ are mentioned every day in newspapers, press, scientific journals and TV. These are labels of technological transformations. The study on Territoral Trends in Technological Transformations delves into the understanding of the technological transformation and of its socio-economic impacts.

This applied research activity was conducted by Technopolis Group, together with Politecnico di Milano, Prof. Slavo Radosevic, MCRIT, University of Warsaw and University of Economics. The study was carried out within the framework of the ESPON 2020 Cooperation Programme.
The ESPON EGTC is the Single Beneficiary of the ESPON 2020 Cooperation Programme. The Single Operation within the programme is implemented by the ESPON EGTC and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the EU Member States and the Partner States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
