Ivette Oomens MSc is senior consultant at Technopolis Group Amsterdam with a focus on projects around digitalisation, innovation strategy and policy. She has experience with evaluations, impact assessments and strategy support in particular and is familiar with a large number of research methods, including desk study, interviews, surveys, case studies and workshops.
Recently, Ivette has been involved in several monitoring and evaluation studies (among which the evaluation of the Belmont Forum and the Dutch Applied Research Organisations (TO2)), impact assessments (e.g. the ex-ante impact assessment of the Institutionalised Partnerships under Horizon Europe) and has provided strategy support to several organisations, for example to the Dutch national research organisation (NWO) and the Suriname Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism.
Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Ivette worked as a trainee at the European Commission DG CONNECT in Brussels, with a focus on broadband and the socio-economic benefits of high speed internet. She studied a Bachelor Psychology at Maastricht University and a Master Innovation Sciences at Eindhoven Technical University, with a focus on globalisation and ICT. This included a semester at Edinburgh Napier University and an internship at Technopolis Group Amsterdam.
Ivette’s native language is Dutch and she is fluent in English.
