Gareth is Principal consultant on Open Science at Technopolis Group. He is interested in science policy for researchers and in improving the implementation and skills training of Open Science across Europe. In this context, he assists and advises chairs of Executive Board of European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) under EOSCsecretariat. He is also ambassador for Open Access and Plan S under cOAlition S and is a doctoral candidate in linguistics at Leiden University. He is a honorary member of Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) as well as a member of H2020 Advisory Group on Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions. Gareth is a former president of European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers (Eurodoc). He is a renown expert on Open Science and Intersectoral Mobility for Dutch Government and European Commission.
