Stephan Kreutzer is a Principal Consultant at Technopolis Group, which he joined in 2018. He has more than 11 years of experience in public policy advisory services, including evaluation and impact assessment and with a focus on research and innovation, entrepreneurship and access to finance, digital transformation, and international cooperation. Stephan also has insights in industrial policy, regional and cohesion policy, education and cultural policy, justice and home affairs, international trade, and employment policy. He has led and contributed to many assignments for international, European and national public sector clients, notably for the European Commission and the German government. He has successfully applied a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods such as interviews, surveys, focus groups, case studies, desk research, literature reviews, and statistical and cost-benefit analysis. He is also experienced in managing multi-stakeholder international networks on behalf of public sector clients, often with a link to Africa and South Asia.
Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Stephan worked at the Centre for Strategy & Evaluation Services and at Matrix Knowledge Group, two public policy consultancies, where he also worked on assignments for European and national clients.
Stephan holds an M.Sc. in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and a B.A. in Political Science from the Free University of Berlin. As well as his native German, Stephan is fluent in English and Spanish.
