This report presents the results of the peer review of the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH) and is part of an evaluation of the three Luxembourg Institutes (LI) (the former CRP’s LIH, LISER and LIST). The audit was performed by an independent external assessment committee, consisting of five internationally renowned researchers in their fields. Amongst others, the Committee recommended to establish an external advisory board, to reform budget distribution and usage, to stimulate or award implementation of long-term programmes and to create incentives and support for scientists to apply for European grants.
