Evaluation of the Innovation Program for Business Models and Pioneering Solutions (IGP)

Publication date: 2 September 2021 | Report language: DE

The Innovationsprogramm für Geschäftsmodelle und Pionierlösungen (IGP) is a pilot programme that promotes non-technical innovations by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi Bund). The aim of the program is to strengthen the innovative power of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in particular, including start-ups and self-employed individuals, by promoting business models and pioneering solutions. Projects are funded in the pre-competitive early stage in three thematic calls

The BMWi Bund has asked Technopolis Group to evaluate the IGP, assessing the funding design and implementation of IGP, as well as measuring the initial effects of the programme. The findings have been compiled in an interim report that was just published.
