Hanna Engblom is a consultant based in the Stockholm office of Technopolis Group. She has an interest in higher education and research, as well as intellectual property rights and innovations. She gained her previous experience in several different fields, including trade and development, international relations and higher education.
Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Hanna worked within exports and investments as a Junior Advisor Trainee for Finpro at the Finnish Embassy in Stockholm. During this time, she conducted market and value chain analysis and research regarding the Swedish market for Finnish SMEs. Previously Hanna worked as a Visiting Research Associate at the Center for Transatlantic Relations at Johns Hopkins University SAIS in Washington DC.
Hanna obtained her Master of Science (Economics and Business Administration) in Commercial Law from Åbo Akademi University, Finland. She wrote her thesis on identity theft on social media and its repercussions for trademark owners. Additionally, she has obtained a Diploma in Innovation and Communications Law from Turku Law School, Finland. She has also studied management, innovation and business ethics at University College Cork, Ireland. She is fluent in Swedish and English, and has advanced knowledge of Finnish.
