Gabriele Jauernig joined Technopolis Group in January 2017 as Associate Senior Consultant. She has a 20-year track record of managing large networks, framework contracts and research and communication projects for the European Commission and European Parliament. She specialises in project management at the interface between research / innovation and communication with the creation of pan-European participatory and stakeholder platforms at the core.
Gabriele’s most recent project management responsibilities include the exploitation of the Research and Innovation Observatory – Horizon 2020 Policy Support Facility, Droppin@EURES, the Smart Cities Stakeholder Platform, the Energy Research Knowledge Centre, the Information System of the SET-Plan (SETIS), DG DIGIT’s Open Source Platform (Joinup), SESAR communications, the Transport Research Knowledge Centre, and CIVITAS Pointer. She has given numerous lectures on “soft research infrastructures” and on “communicating research” and has been a member of the Advisory Board for the European Transport NCP Alliance.
Gabriele joined GOPA-Consultants in 1991 as manager of the EC THERMIE Programme’s Technical Assistance Office on behalf of DG Energy and subsequently launched the Brussels operations of the GOPA Group and founded and managed GOPA-Cartermill from 1997 to 2000. From 2006 to 2014, as member of GOPA-Cartermill’s Management Board and director of the Project Office, she has been responsible for defining and establishing all project-related processes and monitoring their implementation.
Since 2010 she is Managing Director of Communications, Policy and Management Consultants (CPMC), and provides advice and senior project management to clients, such as Technopolis Group, TIPIK, GOPACom, ETEPS AISBL and Intrasoft International.
Gabriele studied International Public Administration and Public Law and she is fluent in German, English and French.
