Dr. Erika Vaiginiene is an experienced researcher with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Strong entrepreneurship skills, professional in business planning, analytical skills, and coaching. She has more than 18 years of work experience in higher education, in different positions (Professor; Head of Strategic Management department; Deputy for Research, Innovation and Quality Assurance; Acting Director of Business School (6 months)). Her research and consulting areas cover the topics of internationalisation, higher education, entrepreneurship and innovation management as well as policy development areas. 

She is a member of CEEMAN, AOM, AIB, EMRBI. Currently she is an expert for The Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA, Germany) and for The Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR, Kazakhstan).

Recently, Erika has contributed to several studies and evaluations on European and Lithuanian higher education and innovation support programmes. She was involved in the “Global Entrepreneurship Monitor” (2011 – 2014) – the world’s foremost trusted resource on entrepreneurship for key international organisations like the?United Nations,?World Economic Forum,?World Bank, and the?Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

Erika holds a PhD of Social science in Business Administration and Management. She is a certified change manager. In 2018 she studied The Art of Foresight and Sustainable futures, organised by Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (UK) in partnership with VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland LTD

She has strong skills in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, development of valid surveys questionnaires. Erika is fluent in English and Russian.
