Anoushka Davé has expertise in science and technology policy with a particular interest in the health, life sciences, education, energy and international development sectors. She is currently working on a European study on medical, industrial and research applications of nuclear and radiation technology and the evaluation of the National Cancer Vanguard. She has previously managed two projects on the status of interdisciplinary research in the UK, a study to understand the value of UK medical research to EU science and health, and contributed to a study on the economic impact of the EU’s paediatric regulation for medicines.
Anoushka has successfully applied a range of methods such as interviews, surveys, case studies, desk research, literature reviews and statistical analysis to her work. Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Anoushka worked for the Universities of Sussex and Oxford as a postdoctoral researcher in genetics and cancer research. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology from Gujarat University in India, a Masters in Biotechnology from the University of West of England, UK and her PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of East Anglia, UK. She has recently received a Masters with Distinction in Science and Technology Policy at the University of Sussex, UK. She is fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati, and has a working knowledge of French.
